This
spacious villa boasts of expansive views of
Rendezvous Bay, Ditliff Point, and the sea
beyond. You will love the eclectic furnishings
throughout the villa where plaster cornices and
whimsical accent pieces marry into unique style
called Windsong. It has one of the largest pools
on the island (15' x 40') and is an exceptional
setting for a St. John vacation. Windsong also
has three kitchens(!) and two wet-bars for your
convenience.
The
crown jewel of this property is the huge,
sparkling 15 x 40 foot swimming pool located on
a spacious deck, with its own small pool kitchen
for those relaxing afternoon refreshments. There
are both sun and shady areas on the decks at
Windsong. And, there is plenty of space for
everyone in your party to find a quiet corner
whenever they want
The grand entrance to the main
house at Windsong sits beneath a covered and lit
portico. The custom-made arched french doors are
designed for both security and beauty.
Inside, the great room has plenty
of comfortable seating options and gorgeous
water views. A complete wet-bar is located in
its own alcove and there is even an office area,
for those hopefully few moments when the real
world beckons.
There's a library and
entertainment center too, and tucked in a corner
of the great room is a doorway providing direct
access to the Master bedroom.
The dining room is conveniently
located directly off the gourmet kitchen for
ease of serving. Through the arches, the formal
dining room beckons. Twelve can comfortably sit
beneath the beautiful chandelier and plastered
ceiling here.
Windsong's kitchen is designed
for serious cooking and has everything that a
gourmet cook could want. There is even direct
access to the outdoor grilling area.
In the well-lit master bathroom,
a spa bathtub is the perfect spot for a long
evening soak.
The master bedroom with its king
bed is located on the main level of the main
house and is air conditioned.
Twin vanities with one-piece
counters/sinks, a large walk-in shower and
opposing mirrors complete the picture.
Accessed from the great room, a
large covered deck spans the entire upper floor
with endless views.
A matching covered deck on the
lower level provides access to additional living
areas. It too has fantastic views of Ditliff
Point, Rendezvous Bay and beyond.
Early mornings are very special
at Windsong. In fact, there's no better place to
enjoy the serenity of Rendezvous Bay at any
time!
Behind one of the doors lies a
complete one-bedrom apartment with plenty of
seating and cable TV.
There's a full kitchen, and
inside dining space which is perfect for late
night snacks or early morning coffee.
A cozy but spacious bedroom with
king bed and a bathroom round out this lower
level apartment.
Also on the lower level is this
large bedroom with bedside chaise lounge, a TV
with cable, a daybed, an upholstered Queen Anne
chair and other creature comforts.
The fourth bedroom has a tropical
flair, a king bed, a daybed, a rocker, an
adjoining bathroom, and direct outside access
too.
The room is spacious, light and
airy as are all the rooms at Windsong.
This frontal view of the main
house is viewed from the pool deck where the
leaves of the banana plants dance in the
constant trade breezes.
The two-bedroom guest cottage is
located directly over the large pool deck and
shares the same spectacular views as the main
house across Rendezvous Bay to Ditliff Point and
beyond.
The guesthouse is a complete
villa unto itself, with a spacious great room.
The entertainment center includes cable TV,
there's inside dining for 6 and plenty of
windows for enjoying the views.
Counter seating in the fully
equipped kitchen is one of many nice
conveniences here.
Just off the great room is this
comfortable bedroom with king sized bed. There's
a full bathroom too.
In this second bedroom in the
guest cottage, the king bed can be separated
into two twins. It has, of course, its own
private bath too.
There is so much more to Windsong
than can be told in just a few photos... the
poolside wet-bar, hidden courtyards, a fountain,
and even a hammock for lazy afternoons.
From across Monty Bay, it is easy
to appreciate the vast size of Windsong Villa
