DEPOSITS DUE TO HOLD RESERVATION:

Guests will be required to send by check a deposit amounting to 50% (fifty percent) of the full rental amount to hold a reservation.

Telephone reservations will be held for seven days, pending receipt of the deposit. The reservation will be held an additional 6 (six) business days for the bank clearance of an off-island check. Upon clearance of the check, the reservation will be confirmed. If this deposit check is not received or fails to clear then your  reservation  is subject to automatic cancellation.

BALANCE DUE:
Guest must pay the balance of the full rental charge no less than 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival.

Security Deposits

In lieu of a security deposit and except in the case of weddings or other events planned for the Guest stay, Agent

St John Rental Company will collect a $35 (thirty five dollar) non-refundable security deposit waiver fee from the Guests. This non-refundable security deposit waiver fee will be used to cover minor accidental damages or breakage of up to $500.00 (five hundred dollars) provided the guest notifies Agent of said damage/breakage prior to their departure. This policy does not apply to theft or damage of any property owned by or brought onto the premises by a guest. In cases of abuse and malicious damage to rental property the Guest will reimburse Agent and/or Owner the amount of all damage including attorney's fees. This waiver fee does not cover normal and expected wear and tear.

*Please Note that some of our houses do require a refundable security deposit in lieu of the non-refundable $35 dollar security waiver fee. You reservation agent will let you know this information at the time of your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
 

Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival:

If a rental is canceled 60 days prior to arrival and the property is ABLE to be re-rented for the specified time period then the Guests deposit may be refunded minus 20% (twenty percent) of the total rental charged on their confirmation.

If St John Rental Company is NOT ABLE to re-rent the property, the deposit received from Guest will be NOT be refunded back to the guest.

Cancellations 60 days or less till arrival:

If a rental is canceled 60 days or less till arrival and the property is ABLE to be re-rented for the specified time period then all Guests monies or full payment paid may be refunded minus 20% (twenty percent) of the total rent charged on their confirmation.

If Agent is NOT able to re-rent the property, all monies or full payment received from Guest will NOT be refunded back to the guest.
